Samantha Ruth Prabhu - Best Actress in Recent Times

Samantha - No one know this actress before Goutham Menon's 'Ye Maaya Chesave'. After 'Ye Maaya Chesave' release everything was changed. Everyone was surprised and amazed with her performance as 'JESSIE' and fallen in love with the character. I don't know how many people became her fan after YMC, I  myself declared as big fan.

No wonder she signed many big films after YMC..Brindavanam with NTR Jr, Dookudu with Mahesh Babu, Eega with Nani under SS Rajamouli direction, SVSC again with Mahesh Babu. All are big hits and everyone started calling 'Samantha has golden leg' and 'lucky charm' for their films. Big producers are standing in the line for her dates. She bagged lot of fame and big number of fans with her haunting performances even beside star heroes so called commercial films. Its a big wonder and very rare these days if a heroine attracts audiences with a performance.
                         

 Beside YMC, with movies EEGA and YETO VELLIPOYINDI MANASU our Sam delivered ultimate performances as Bindu and Nithya Yelavarthi. I am glad that award jury's and Telugu/Tamil audiences applauded her effort and recognized her dedication towards acting. She won many awards so far....

As a ardent fan I felt very very happy after hearing this news, Samantha won two Filmfare awards in the same year that too as Best Actress in Telugu for EEGA and also in Tamil for NEETHANE EN PONVASANTHAM. She created history that Sam is the only actress in last 21 years to won two Filmfare awards in the same year as best actress in both languages. Actress Revathi is the only one so far who did this amazing feat in 1992 with 'Ankuram' and 'Thevar Magan'.
