Alright, here's more news on Badri Venkatesh and his film Baana Kaathadi. The movie, which featured actor Murali's son Atharvaa and Samantha in the lead, is apparently being dubbed in Telugu now .
The movie, titled Kurralloi Kurrrallu, is expected to release in the state of Andhra Pradesh in the first week of January.
Says director Badri, "The movie's audio has already been released and is doing quite well. Samantha is well known in Telugu as the Telugu version of Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa, Ye Mayam Chesave, was a big hit there. So, expectations are high there."
So, were they contemplating any changes in the Telugu version? Says Badri, "We initially thought of changing the climax. But then, we felt that this climax would appeal to the Telugu audiences and have therefore chosen to retain it."
The movie, which marked the debut of Atharvaa, has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
On his next project, Badri discloses, "My next project too will be with Atharvaa. The boy has potential and I would like to use it in my next film as well. We will begin work on the project in the month of May next year."
